How it works, step by step

You set it up in a couple of minutes from your phone. When the moment arrives, hand the phone to your child and that is it.

• ●Upload the photo: a drawing, a teddy bear or the pet. A phone and good light are enough.
• ●Tell us who it is: its name, personality, favourite things and relationship with your child. Four sentences are enough.
• ●Choose the voice and language for the conversation.
• ●The character calls. It appears on screen, greets your child by name and starts the chat.

Tip: set up the first call without telling them. You never forget the look on their face in those first ten seconds.

You describe the character, it does the rest

The character is not a generic avatar with a different face: it talks the way you describe it. If your daughter’s dragon is shy and collects buttons, it will be shy and collect buttons on the call.

It also knows about your child because you tell it while setting up the call: their name, age, favourite things and recent achievements. And it responds to what they say in the moment — if they mention losing a tooth, the character reacts to it.

Made for children, controlled by you

You create and review the character before it talks with your child: you see how it introduces itself and starts the conversation, and you can remake it as many times as you like.

There are no ads, in-call purchases or anything your child can tap to spend money. Setup and payment stay on your side of the app.

The photo you upload and your child’s details are used only to create and personalise the character, and you can delete them from your account whenever you want. Your child’s camera is not recorded or stored.

Custom characters follow the same child-safety rules as the rest of the catalogue: kind, gentle and never asking a child for personal details.

What kind of photo works best?

A clear photo where the character faces the camera and fills a good part of the image: a large face, looking straight ahead and without much background. For drawings, a smooth, crease-free background is best; for teddy bears and pets, use good light and avoid movement. The app gives you tips before you upload.

Does it really talk with my child, or is it a video?

It really talks. It is a live conversation: the character listens to what your child says and responds to it, with the voice and personality you defined. There is no recorded script.

How much does it cost?

You pay by the minute, not by subscription: buy a balance and use it whenever you want, with your custom character or anyone in the catalogue (Santa, the Three Kings, the Tooth Fairy…). There is no automatic renewal or surprise charge.

What happens to the photo and my child’s details?

They are used only to create the character and personalise the conversation. You can delete the character and the details from your account whenever you want, and your child’s camera is not recorded or stored during the call.

Can I have more than one custom character?

There is one custom character per account, but you can remake it whenever you want: change the photo, name, voice or personality. Many families refresh it for a new season or a new obsession.

What ages is it suitable for?

Ages 3 to 10. Younger children are amazed that their drawing calls them by name; from age 6, they can hold full conversations with questions and answers.
